Axis Syllabus Intensive mit Nuvola Vandini und Silberbunt Movements

Nuvola Vandini/Monika Schuberth

AXIS SYLLABUS INTENSIVE WEEK

27 October – 2 November 2025 with Monika Schuberth & Nuvola Vandini

OPEN THE BORDERS! TERRITORIES THAT SUPPORT EACH OTHER

Can we observe the body as a map in which different territories support each other to emerge and shine?

In the beautiful Vienna, in the middle of Autumn a week to deepen in the study of movement through the Axis Syllabus! Two sections of work, two teachers, two perspectives on the body, an evening Jam to celebrate, and free time to integrate and why not, discover Vienna!

GEOGRAPHIES OF WEIGHT • morning training with Monika Schuberth & Nuvola Vandini

27, 28, 29, 30 October
10.00 -11.30 first class // 12.00-13.30 second class

From feet to hands. How many areas to land and load your weight while moving?
While shifting the role of support, how different body parts can support each other?“

During this week of morning training, Nuvola and Monika will offer a map of the body territories suitable for receiving weight and thus becoming support for movement; by discovering their anatomical structure, we will evaluate together their potential and limits. Step by step we will draw geographies through which to transit the body’s weight with grace and creativity. Walking, jumping, turning, rolling on and between the different supports of our bodies.

ROLLING STONES • workshop with Nuvola Vandini

31 October 4.00 pm-6.30pm // 1 November 10.00 – 13.00 / 14.00 – 16.30 // 2 November 10.00 – 14.00

A tribute to beautiful music that moves and touches us, this is an invitation to find practical tools to move with harmony like a song where everything flows. Rolling is a sophisticated action that integrates movement and the relationship between different body parts, involving timing, chronology… From the rolling of the foot sole during each step to the rolling of the entire body on the ground, how can we best manage this specific dynamic weight transfer? Rollin rolling rolling, like stones one after another.

JAM

Saturday 1. November 6.30pm-11pm

In the evening we will open the door for a Crossover-Jam. A Jam for all kind of movements and improvisation like dance, partnering, contact improvisation, acrobatics, handstands, acroyoga,… A space for tryouts, training and sharing.

In the kitchen there will be some snacks and drinks and the sauna will be open too.
